Reviews and Ratings <br />
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the room was clean and comfortable with good amenities, the dining experiences left much to be desired. The location was ideal for skiing, and the shuttle service was great, but I really struggled with the rude staff at the restaurant. Overall, it's a decent option if you're primarily focused on skiing, but I would suggest planning lunches and dinners elsewhere.
The hotel is conveniently located for skiing, with easy access to the mountain, but there were some cleanliness and maintenance issues. The rooms were basic and not particularly well-equipped, and the dining experience had some disappointing moments, especially with the service. However, the shuttle service was prompt and helpful, making our trips to the slopes easy.
The hotel had a nice and clean room with a breathtaking view. While the beds were comfortable and the breakfast spread was decent, there were significant drawbacks including loud radiator noises and disturbing neighbors. The service was helpful, but issues with noise made it hard to enjoy the stay. Overall, it was a fair value for the price, but not ideal for a restful experience.
I had a great time staying at Black Bear Lodge while skiing at Stratton. The hotel offers clean rooms that feel a bit cozy but are very comfortable overall. The staff was super helpful, and the shuttle service to the mountain was a big plus. However, the thin walls made it noisy at times, and I missed having a mini-fridge in the room. Overall, it’s a solid choice for skiers looking for good value.
I recently stayed at Black Bear Lodge and while it had some good aspects, there were quite a few things that needed improvement. The shuttle service to the lifts is a highlight, and the breakfast was decent. However, the rooms felt outdated, with noisy air conditioning and uncomfortable beds. Overall, it was a mixed experience, and I don't think I would return.
